The Fairy Glam Mother

Nikole Shurn is an entrepreneur who has a strong heart for helping others, especially young girls in the community.  Shurn started the Fairy Glam Project in 2008 with single handedly giving two dresses from her own closet to girls so they could attend their prom.  In 2009, she opened NV Showroom Boutique in downtown St. Louis and turned her boutique into a "prom dress depot" for a day to several deserving young ladies.  Since then, it has continued to grow.  Although she closed the boutique doors in 2012, she didn't stop collecting dresses.  There were times when she wanted to stop but remembered that this mission is much bigger than her and feels she is doing God's work by touching the lives of others.

Shurn holds a BS in Marketing from Kentucky State University and a MA in Media Communications from Webster University and a MAEd in Secondary Education from University of Missouri-St. Louis.  She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.   In her spare time, she loves spending time with her two children, family, and friends.
